One World Club

One World Club’s next show is Monday March 1st, as usual, at Milton Keynes Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey, MK13 9AP. Doors open 6.30 for a show at 7.30.

Entrance is free, as are the chocs and crisps on the tables!

There is a bar to wash the snacks down with.

Who pays for this? It’s sponsored by A1 Tutors, which is a private tuition agency wishing to channel its profits to a good cause. I own the agency, and find it more rewarding spending some of the company’s profits on the cause of promoting cultural harmony than holidays.

Headlining act this time is Chris Puleston’s 14 piece drum circle. Chris is one of the most charismatic and dramatic entertainers you’ll ever see on stage, with his passionate followers mimicking and echoing his tricks and humour, while Chris himself moves and dances to the sounds he and his band are making.

Andy Powell, renowned in Milton Keynes as a polished Rock’n Roller and banjo player
Theresa Kelleher and her band, singer of Irish and English contemporary music
Vicky Mensah and her African dance group
Lee Michalke and John, modern folk singers
John Meachen, comic entertainer
Joe de Casa, sings music from the swing era
Daniella Dankwah, modern singer
Michelle Welbourn, English folk singer
